Cotswold Cylinder Planter Recycled Plastic Plant Pot 48cm Blue
Out of stock
Add a bit of classic country garden character to your space with the Cotswold Cylinder Planter in Blue. At 48cm across, this is a proper big pot that gives larger plants plenty of room to get their roots down. The calm, coastal blue shade sits nicely against brickwork, stone paving, or gravel paths, setting off bright blooms and deep greens without stealing the show. Finished with a clean hand-painted gloss, it has all the weight and appearance of glazed stoneware without the back-breaking heft.
Moulded from thick, tough recycled plastic, it will happily take on British winters without cracking in a hard frost or fading after a hot summer on the patio. Despite its size, it is easy enough to shift around before you fill it up. With a drainage hole in the base so rainwater clears away easily and your plants do not sit waterlogged. It is an ideal pick for standard bay trees by the front door, big hydrangeas, or filling with a generous mix of seasonal bedding.
Features:
- Generous 48cm round plant pot in a tranquil Blue shade (42cm tall x 48cm wide)
- Hand-painted glossy finish gives the look of real glazed pottery without the risk of frost cracking
- Made from tough recycled plastic that holds up to knocks, wet weather, and hard frosts
- Light enough to move into place easily before planting up on the patio or gravel
- UV-stabilised material stops the colour fading under direct sun over the years
- Built-in base drainage hole lets excess rainwater run straight out to keep roots healthy
- Works well outdoors on patios, driveways, and decking, or inside a bright porch or conservatory
- Plenty of root room for patio fruit trees, large shrubs, bamboo, or mixed seasonal displays

Additional Information
Why Heritage?
Heritage Garden Pots are a classic design; a combination of British culture and craftmanship. These pots are created using the highest quality materials, inspired by traditional gardens and the nation's love of horticulture.
All ceramic glazed pots are hand glazed and therefore each pot will have a unique finish. Some of the colours have more variation than others (mainly the blue) so when more than one pot is ordered we will try to match the colour as closely as possible.
The main colours of heritage plant pots we offer include Blue, Black, Pastel Grey, and Mint Green.
Heritage plant pots come with many features and benefits:
- Frost and weather resistant finishes
- Greater durability than most planters
- Hard-wearing, and get better looking with age
- Adequate drainage holes
Planting Tips
When planting your container we recommend mixing Empathy rootgrow with your compost. This will give your plant a boost and help it cope with the variable weather conditions we have by improving the uptake of nutrients and water.
In addition to this, we always recommend purchasing the pot feet to go with your pot as they improve drainage and air circulation which improves your plant health. They also help to reduce excess moisture around the roots promoting stronger root growth, and also protect your pot from frost damage.

Size
When choosing your heritage pot, it is important to consider the size and type of plant you will be planting. For example, if you are planting a large plant in an outdoor pot, you will need to choose a pot that is sturdy enough to support the weight of the plant.
We offer a broad selection of pots in various conical and cylindrical sizes including: 20cm, 25cm, 26cm, 27cm, 30cm, 33cm, 38cm, and 41cm in diameter.

Packaged With Care
Before packing, each pot undergoes a quality check to ensure a high standard. Please note that some pots may have blemishes or a slight run of colour; each pot may be slightly different. This is a result of the handcrafting manufacturing process.
